What Would You Do? ‘Way Off Base’

What would you do? 'Way off Base'

Something to think about

When it comes to sexual contact with a minor, the laws in the foreign country you have travelled to are not your only concern. Beyond Borders lobbied to broaden the law to combat child sex tourism so that all Canadians who sexually abuse children or engage in child pornography in foreign jurisdictions can be held accountable in Canada under Canadian law (called the “Prober Amendment”). Sex with children and youth is not an acceptable part of anyone’s culture. Sexual slavery is often the result of families and children living in situations of poverty and/or armed conflict. If you are suspicious that a child or youth is being sexually exploited, regardless of the country, you can report it to cybertip.ca and they will refer the matter to the proper legal authority. You can also report it to ECPAT International.
